Kalispera! Vă scriu de la Atena, am un jurnal de călătorie pentru voi.
Am ajuns pe meleagurile grecești vineri seară. Hiper energică și plină de entuziasm, am lăsat bagajele la hotel și am ajuns în Monastiraki, la un rooftop superb numit A for Athens, de unde se vedea luminat Acropole. Paharul de șampanie, mousse-ul de ciocolată și priveliștea, care te lăsa complet fascinat, au contribuit la starea de bine cu care mi-am început mini-vacanța.
Sâmbătă dimineață, am luat grăbită micul dejun și am luat-o la pas prin oraș. La ora 12 avea să se schimbe garda la parlament, iar pe drum ne-am oprit la câteva edificii vechi, superbe, pentru poze.
După ce am asistat la defilarea soldaților (care apropo, a fost uimitoare, complet diferită față de cea din Londra, de la Palatul Buckingham, însă unică si specială în felul ei) la un alt rooftop suuuper drăguț din Sindagma, numit Public. Aperol-ul și priveliștea Atenei au lucrat de minune în pozele mele:)
Nu după mult timp, în urma câtorva plimbări pe străduțele cu magazine de prin preajmă, am luat taxi către Glyfada, unde am mâncat la un restaurant numit Moou. A fost delicioooos!
După masă, am ajuns pe plajă, unde ne-am petrecut câteva ore. Deși apa era foarte rece (sora mea a intrat!!!), vremea era mai mult decât perfectă. Am stat întinsă pentru o bună vreme și m-am relaxat: ascultam muzică, mă uitam la valuri, la cer, la valuri, la cer și..atât :) Nu pot exprima în cuvinte starea de bine cu care am plecat de acolo!
În ultima zi, respectiv duminică, ne-am trezit cam târziu, însă din fericire, am avut timp pentru tot ce ne propusesem să facem. Am fugit să luăm brunch-ul pe vârful dealului Lykavittos, dar nu înainte să intrăm în biserica Sf. Gheorghe și de un mic shooting pe platou cu priveliștea.
Deși a fost un city-break destul de scurt, am făcut tot ce mi-am propus și mi-am lăsat o parte din inimă și aici, în capitala frumoasei Elada.

Kalispera! I'm writing you from Athens, I have a travelling journal for today's post.
I reached the Greek lands on Friday night. Hyper energic and full of enthuziasm, I left my luggages at the hotel and I went to a beautiful rooftop named A for Athens, in Monastiraki. From that point, you could see the illuminated, splendid Acropole very well.
The champagne glass, the chocolate mousse and the breathtaking view contributed to the good vibe I started my mini-holiday with.
On Saturday morning, we had a quick breakfast and then we went in the city. At 12 o'clock the guard at the parliament was going to change, and on our way there we stopped a few times to take some photos with some ancient, amazing edifices.
After assisting at the soldiers' parade, (which by the way, is completely different from the one in London, at the Buckingham Palace, but still unique and special in its own way), we got to another suuuper nice rooftop named Public. The Aperol glass and the view of Athens worked sooo great together.
Not long after we walked on some streets with shops, we took a cab to Glyfada, where we had lunch (at a restaurant named Moouu). It was delicious!!!
After eating, we got to the beach, where we spent some hours. The water was so cold, yet my sister got in!!! The weather was more than perfect, anyway.
I layed on the beach for a while, relaxing. I was listening to some good, chill music, gazing at the sky, at the waves going and coming and..nothing else.
I can't express in words the good feeling I had when I left that place.
On Sunday (our last day) we got up a lil' too late, but happily, we did what we planned to do. We ran to have brunch on the top of Lykavittos hill, but not before going into St. George's Church and a short shooting with the view.
Even if it was a pretty short city-break, I did all that I wanted to and I left a part of my heart here, too, in the capital of the beautiful Elada.
